Sepia, an Exhibition by Prof. Gloria Marco Munuera

From May 25 to June 29, 2012, Gloria Marco Munuera (Prof. of Photography at ISI Florence) presented her solo photography exhibition, entitled Sepia, at the ACDA Art Gallery in Bonete (Spain).  Sepia is a photographic collection that plays with tenuous light and explores the concept of the past. Within this series, she represents people in imaginary scenarios and locations. Metaphorical and “surreal”, this collection evokes the language of dreams and the melancholy of another epoch. The light penetrating through windows, doors, and broken roofs pervades the scene as a leitmotiv, opening the viewer to both reality and fantasy.
