Italy to Rresume In-Person Classes in January

The Italian government confirmed tonight the reopening of the schools, after the Epiphany holiday (January 6th), but with the adoption of new protection measures.
More specifically, in kindergartens, with one or more positive cases, teaching will be interrupted for ten days. In elementary schools, with only one positive child in a class, the rest of the students will continue the lessons, but by performing diagnostic tests. In two cases or more, distance learning may be considered for ten days.

In high schools and distance education, distance learning will only be decided if there are three positive cases per class. With two cases, children who have been vaccinated, those who have had covid, or those who have been treated in the past for the virus in the last four months will stay in the classroom, while unvaccinated will attend classes at home.
