Professors Carlo Achilli and Daniela Sinicropi, in collaboration with the University of Florence’s Professor Paolo Di Nardo, are proud to present the workshop “The Shaping of Urban Spaces – a Piazza on the Arno.” ISI Florence students are working side by side with their Italian peers in the design of a community space, which is dedicated to the existing bond between city and river. The students will focus on water, which is the workshop’s key concept due to the recent 50th Anniversary of the 1966 Florence Flood.
