Swimming has always been a great way for me to de-stress and take better care of myself. I find it great that ISI Florence offers students the possibility to get a discounted membership at Rari Nantes Florentia. This amazing swimming club was founded in 1904 and has ever since had gold-medal-awarded water polo and swimming teams.

 

 

Not only the location, right by the Arno riverbank, but also the community of swimmers, make this place so special. Sports are always great when it comes to meeting people and creating positive social contexts: I’d recommend to anyone who’s into swimming to join this pool – a pleasant walk from school – to keep fit, enjoy a true Florentine atmosphere, and meet locals!
