Participating in an internship abroad is a great way to interact with both the Florentines and the city itself. Flo’ On the Go is a magazine that provides you with the opportunity to attend events in Florence and share the experience. You can pick any section that you want to write about sports, lifestyle, or food. I spent my semester writing about trips that I took outside of Italy as well as events in Florence. I had the opportunity to see amazing plays such as Stomp and Black Swan for free. It is about the work of a one-credit class and it is an amazing addition to your resume. I would strongly recommend this internship because it helped me to improve my writing skills and experience a side of Florence I would not have otherwise.
