On November 7, 2017, we, fourth-year students at Giulio Douhet Military School, had the opportunity to visit ISI Florence and have a conversation exchange with American students (the collaboration between the two schools has been going on for several years now).
Sitting in the beautiful rooms of Palazzo Rucellai, we met with many U.S. peers and spent part of the afternoon with them. They told us their aim was to get to know more about our culture and to learn some Italian, whereas we said that we really wanted to improve our English. We asked about their lives here and in the States and explained what it means to be an Air Force cadet.
Our conversation was extremely interesting and we all enjoyed the meeting very much. That’s why we decided to keep in touch and to meet again soon.
