The award ceremony for the I ❤ Clean Florence video contest was held at Palazzo Vecchio, where a crowd of American students, who had submitted their works, gathered with hopes of winning one of several generous prizes. Council member Cristina Giachi awarded the three best short videos, complimenting the visitors for their enthusiasm. The partnership – Quadrifoglio, Bassilichi, Angeli del Bello and, of course, ISI Florence – was a bold experiment, whose results more than justified the resources given over to it. Indeed, ISI’s Executive Director, Antonio Artese, expressed his keen interest in consolidating such an initiative. Antonio hopes to create a permanent platform through which public and private institutions acknowledge and nurture young talents, allowing fresh, new ideas to bubble up.
