Alessia Braida

Born and raised in Trieste, Alessia would spend her summers throughout high school studying English in London while staying with some host families. It was love at first sight, and she still tries to go back to London whenever she has the chance!

At 18, she moved to the Netherlands to study at Tilburg University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology while working as a statistics and psychometrics teacher.

In 2022, she moved to Rome and completed a two-year inter-university Master’s program in Clinical Psychosexology jointly offered by Sapienza University of Rome and Tor Vergata University. After finishing her studies she volunteered at the Gay Center of Rome while also doing an internship in an antiviolence center.

Having only recently moved to Florence, in September 2025, she is looking forward to discovering everything that the city has to offer! In her spare time, she volunteers at the Red Cross of Florence, bringing her expertise as a licensed psychologist and sexologist. She is also trying to learn Dutch with the idea to move back to the Netherlands, and one day, hopefully, live in Rotterdam with two cats and a duck.
