This past summer 2015 the Institute welcomed the collaboration with Associazione L’Arte di Apoxiomeno. The organization was created to award those who honor to the Italian police and law enforcements on an international level through cinema, literature, art, and music. One of the events coordinated with ISI Florence included a book presentation, “La Pietà dell’Acqua” by Antonio Fusco. Palazzo Rucellai hosted the press conference for the 2015 Apoxiomeno Awards Ceremony with Oscar winners Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford, as well as American author Robert Edsel, figure skating champion Silvia Marangoni, and Orazio Anania, president of the association.
