The “Dactiloscapes” project by Gloria Marco Munuera is a study on the microscopic topography present on the human body through its fingerprints. The project consists of double sets of images – real and figurative- that link identity to large-scale landscapes taken from aerial views. This project uses skin to emphasize the semiotic relationship that ties an individual to his own “footprint”.
