Our faculty member Professor Arch. Franco Pisani has recently been appointed External Examiner for the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at University of Westminster for years 2014-2017. External examiners are suitably qualified academics and/or professionals, whose role is to provide formative comments and recommendations upon the hosting university’s academic standards.The main purposes of external examining are to verify that standards are appropriate for the award, assist in the comparison of academic standards across higher education awards, and ensure that assessment processes are fair, properly operated and in line with the regulations.
