Anatole Tchikine, who joined the Institute’s faculty in 2010 as Professor of Art History, has recently been appointed Post-Doctoral Associate in Garden and Landscape Studies at Dumbarton Oaks, a prestigious Harvard-operated research center in Washington, DC. For the next three years, Anatole will act as an academic assistant to the Director of Garden and Landscape Studies, organizing conferences, symposia, and other scholarly events and overseeing the center’s ongoing publications in the relevant field. We wish Anatole every success in his new job and look forward to his return to ISI Florence in 2015!
