Secrets of Florence Tour

The “Struscio Fiorentino” inspires this tour. Traditionally, this name indicated the most crowded streets in the city, where the long skirts worn by rich dames used to brush (struscio) with each other as they were walking. Thus, a “via di struscio” is a very crowded street, such as via Calzaioli on Sunday afternoons! Nowadays, this term refers to a collection of curiosities and fun facts about particular spots in the city.
