Dean Greg Hunt (Marywood University) spent a week (March 13-17) with our program. A reception was held in his honor (see picture) at Palazzo Rucellai. He met with Marywood architecture students attending ISI classes and he looked over the projects they are developing here. He participated in a one-day excursion to the Genoa seaport area that internationally-renowned Italian Architect Renzo Piano redesigned in the early 1990s: Academic Director Stefano U. Baldassarri and Prof. Pisani accompanied.
April 12 Angie Abdelmonem (International Coordinator at ASU Study Abroad Office) met ISI faculty and staff on a flying visit to Florence. She then spent some time with the ASU students currently enrolled in our program.
On the same day, renowned classicist Prof. Robert Wallace (Classics Dept., Northwestern University) visited both Palazzo Rucellai and Palazzo Bargagli, and was treated to an overview of our many scholarly activities and projects.
