In August 2013, Christian Tarchi, ISI faculty member, participated in the EARLI (European Association of Research in Learning and Instruction) conference at TUM University in Munich, Germany. EARLI is a collection of members from 56 nations dedicated to research in the field of learning and instruction, and their biennial conference was attended by an impressive number of scholars from all over the world. The theme of this year was, “Responsible Teaching and Sustainable Learning”. Christian Tarchi lectured on the importance of utilizing different components of our past experiences while interacting with the texts we read in order to achieve a deeper level of comprehension.
