Alessandro Ricci, professor of Italian language at ISI Florence, has curated an anthology of short stories while also contributing one himself. The narrative texts in this collection describe Campo di Marte (one of Florence’s neighborhoods) from a personal and intimate point of view. Here is what Prof. Ricci told us about this editorial project:
It’s a collection of short stories that differ in style and content. They are written by various authors, whose background is also varied. What unites them all is their love for reading, writing, the city of Florence, and the Campo di Marte neighborhood. This book is special to me because my brother Gianmarco also contributed to it, along with dear friends like Daniela De Donno and Francesca Rachel Valle. In their texts and all the others making up this anthology the authors’ passion and sincerity stand out – and I believe these qualities always win.
