Visa Requirement Waiver for EU/Schengen Citizens

If you are a European Union (EU) or Schengen Area Citizen and would like to request an exception to ISI Florence’s visa requirement for semester study, please submit the form below. In order to exempt you from the visa process, ISI Florence must confirm that you are, in fact, an EU/Schengen citizen and will therefore be traveling and studying in compliance with relevant international law.

In almost all cases, this must be a passport scan. If, however, you will be traveling on an expired EU/Schengen passport with the intent to renew while abroad, please upload proof of this. If you are an EU/Schengen citizen who has not yet received their first EU/Schengen passport, you may need to upload multiple documents (combined to a single PDF) to prove your citizenship.
