Navdanya International invites the public to Giovani & Territorio: Percorsi di Agroecologia e Cittadinanza (Youth & Territory: Paths Toward Agroecology and Citizenship), an event celebrating the International Day for Biodiversity and fostering dialogue between young people, schools, local communities, and ecological futures.

The initiative is part of the Terrae Vivae (Living Lands) program, which promotes ecoliteracy, agroecology, and active citizenship through experiential learning and collaboration with local schools and communities. Throughout the afternoon, students from schools in Bracciano and Anguillara Sabazia will present projects developed through ecological education and school-to-work training programs.

The event will also feature an open dialogue among institutions, schools, producers, and young participants, followed by an aperitivo and a student DJ set. The initiative highlights the role of art, biodiversity, and local knowledge in strengthening the relationship between young people, food systems, and the environment.

ISI Florence professor Francesca Brunetti, who teaches graphic design courses at the institute, is among the event’s organizers and curates the exhibition of students’ works and the Arte e Suolo (Art and Soil) workshop.
