Antonella was born in Rome to Peruvian parents and spent part of her childhood in Lima, where she lived with her grandparents. Those early years had a lasting impact on her sense of identity and belonging. She later returned to Italy and settled in the Florentine countryside, a place that taught her to value the balance between city life and nature.

Before joining the school, Antonella worked in international student accommodation and later in a study-abroad setting—experiences that broadened her perspective and strengthened her appreciation for the many different stories students carry with them. Having lived between cultures herself, she is especially committed to creating welcoming spaces and supporting those who are finding their footing in a new country.

Drawn to nature and a simple way of living, she enjoys long walks, quiet moments, and the slower pace of the countryside. At the same time, she travels often to visit friends across Europe, holding onto the belief that home is made of people, not places.
