I’ve been working as a para-aide at a private school in Arizona for the past three years. This means that I work one-on-one with students on the autism spectrum. Before I left to come to Italy, I received a booklet put together just for me: on each page the kids wrote what they would like me to do while studying aboard.

So here I am, tackling the tasks, and documenting each accomplishment for my little ones to be proud of. Eating as many ice creams I can until I burst and pizza, too (I’ve been told to eat as many as possible). Then I’ll need to send postcards, visit the famous Leaning Tower in Pisa, and Venice…
