ITALY 101: an intern of Florence

Each semester ISI Florence offers unique opportunities to students to integrate them into the Italian community. Students gain experience as tour guides in major city monuments such as the Baptistery, the Duomo, and Palazzo Vecchio (city hall), as teaching assistants in elementary schools and the synagogue’s kindergarten, as web writers for the Flo’n The Go info and news, and become part of the “Angeli del Bello” city project for improving the urban environment and decorum. Volunteer work and non-academic internships contribute to the quality of our students’ time abroad, and enrich them as citizens of the world.
