The ISI student body consists of students from a wide range of US and international colleges and universities. If you are a matriculated student in good standing at an accredited college or university with sophomore status or higher (one year or more of study) you qualify for admission into our programs. ISI accepts students who have exhibited the maturity, responsibility, openness, and willingness to benefit from and contribute to the study abroad experience. The Institute requires that these attributes are supported by acceptable academic performance or a letter of recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you to Florence for our next program!

If you are a student at any accredited college or university and wish to study at ISI, you may apply directly to the Institute by clicking here!

All students will receive an ISI transcript for their coursework. Please check with your academic advisor or registrar to ensure that ISI credits will transfer to your home institution especially if you expect to satisfy any graduation requirements. For those who require, ISI may also provide a Roger Williams University (Bristol, Rhode Island) transcript which is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and a member of the Association of American College and University Programs in Italy (AACUPI).
