All American study abroad students in Florence will be able to receive the third dose (booster) of the covid vaccine. This new policy was made possible thanks to the Tuscany Councilor for Universities and Research, Titta Meucci who, together with the president of the American Association of University Programs in Italy (AACUPI)Fabrizio Ricciardelli, appreciate the benefits of having all residents of the city, permanent and visiting, fully-vaccinated and boosted.
“After a careful discussion with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, we have defined with the Tuscany Region the path to guarantee the entire vaccination progression for American students present in Florence. Students will be able to register and obtain a personal 10-digit code which will allow them to receive a booster shot. In this way we will guarantee all students full access to vaccination at a time of great delicacy for everyone’s health”, said councilor Titta Meucci.
