In light of the elevated U.S. advisory levels for Italy (level 3), and out of concern for students’ safety and well-being, all U.S. university programs hosted by ISI Florence have been cancelled in Italy for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester. Students that have been instructed by their home university to return home, have till March 9, 2020 to complete the withdrawal form and depart Italy. Arrangements will be made to continue the academic program remotely. Students wishing to remain in Institute apartments should contact ISI staff immediately for instructions.
At this time, we are fully supporting our students in organizing their return home.
We are saddened by this development, but the health and safety of our students is our top priority. ISI Florence would like to thank our students and their families for being so understanding and cooperative as well as the students’ home institutions and our partners in Florence for being extremely supportive in these special circumstances.
